ALL SCHOOL NEWS Next week is Winter Spirit Week! Monday is Red/Green day, Upperclassmen wear red and lower classmen wear green. Tuesday is Happy Holidays, Wednesday is Family Photo Day, Thursday is Ugly Sweater Day and Friday is Hibernation Day/PJ Day. This is for both High School and Middle School. Earn color war points for participating.
Congratulations to the students who have registered for the Dec ACT this Saturday. Be sure to arrive early (7:30) and bring your photo ID and pencils.
Don’t forget to look for the Elf before and after school and also, during lunch and passing time. When you find it bring it to Teresa in the office and you will get a prize.
Drama Showcase tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are a free will donation. Both the Beginning Drama and the Intermediate/Advanced Drama classes will perform monologues, short scenes, and improv.
Welcome to the holiday season of caring. The High School Leadership Class is sponsoring our annual Giving Tree in senior hall. Requests from local families are on the tree and we encourage all students to join in the season of giving by taking a request from the tree and bringing the unwrapped gift with the tag back to the library by Thursday Dec. 13.
HIGH SCHOOL NEWS High school winter assembly will be December 18th and we will be having a dodgeball tournament. Please sign up for your class in senior hall.
Food drive will continue until December 13th.
MIDDLE SCHOOL NEWS: Attention middle schoolers, update on the food drive. Each grade needs 1000 items to meet the end quota by the deadline of December 13th. In the meantime, holding the lead is the 7th graders with 908 items, second is the 8th grade with 441 items and in 3rd are the 6th graders with 158 items.
Any 7th or 8th graders interested in participating in Knowledge Bowl please attend a meeting in room 204 at lunch on Friday.
Middle school will be having a dance on January 11th from 3-5:30 in the lower gym.
SPORTS MS boys basketball practice starts December 10th. 3:15 to 5:15. Please make sure you are registered on FamilyID.
