Kalama Elementary School will open its Kindergarten registration for the 2025-2026 school year on Tuesday, March 18.
Families with children who are five years of age by August 31, 2025 and who reside in the district are eligible to enroll for full-day kindergarten. Kalama School District’s kindergarten program provides young learners with the opportunity to develop essential social, emotional and problem-solving skills, preparing them for success in later grades and life.
To enroll in Kindergarten, families will need to provide a copy of their child’s birth certificate as well as current immunization records.
Families can pick up registration packets and learn more about the district’s Kindergarten program during open house “Round-Up” events taking place on Tuesday, March 18 from 5 to 6 p.m., and on Thursday, March 20 from 4 to 5 pm. Attendees will be able to visit classrooms, meet teachers, and get questions answered. Families are asked to contact the school office at 360-673-5207 to RSVP.
