Kalama Elementary School student Hunter Keller was recognized as Kalama School District’s Student of the Month during the Kalama School Board meeting on Monday, November 25.
In nominating Hunter for the recognition, the 5th grader was praised by school staff for his leadership and supportive attitude.
“Hunter is an exceptional student and young man,” his nominators wrote. “Every character trait that we focus on at school, he exemplifies. His peers often point to him as an example of someone who is respectful, cooperative, honest, kind, and persevering. He leads his peers with a quiet, but strong attitude, and they often look to him for guidance and help. He is never harsh, insensitive, or rude. He is always caring, patient, and loyal.”
