New Kalama School District Superintendent Dr. Wesley Benjamin has kicked off a multi-phase Entry Plan to help guide his transition into the district. As part of the plan's "listening" phase, Benjamin participated in a Facebook Live event on Friday (July 19) at the Port of Kalama's Mountain Timber Market.
Benjamin was joined by Kalama native Dustin Moon, who currently serves as a member of the Kalama School Board, and SAJ Architecture's Jonah Jensen, who served as the lead architect on the new Kalama Elementary School and Kalama Middle School buildings, and is now leading design efforts on the district's upcoming natural resources center.
