In partnership with the Center for Educational Effectiveness (CEE), Kalama School District is seeking information and feedback from parents and guardians to help foster a culture of achievement in Kalama schools.
Open to school families until Friday, June 7, the Educational Effectiveness Survey aims to identify specific strengths and weaknesses within the district.
Developed by CEE, the survey has been used in more than 280 districts over the past two decades. It is completely confidential and anonymous, and the data is formative, not evaluative.
"The EES survey is an essential instrument we rely on to ensure that the voices and experiences of our families consistently shape our progress toward achieving our strategic goals," said Jennifer McCallum, Kalama School District’s Interim Superintendent.
In the survey, parents and guardians will be asked to provide their perspectives and experiences on a range of topics, including:
Teacher & school communications
The school's instructional program
Safe and supportive school environment
Building leadership
Mechanisms for family and community engagement
Surveys are available online in various languages, and paper copies of the survey are available upon request. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete.
