KHS student athletes earn honors for fall season play

More than 20 Kalama High School student athletes have earned Central 2B All-League, Honorable Mention or MVP honors for the 2023 fall season.

Student athletes who received honors include:

Football (South Division):

  • Aiden Brown: Offensive MVP
  • Dylan Jones: All-League First Team (Offensive Line)
  • Ethan Brightbill: All-League First Team (Wide Receiver)
  • Reece Achen: All-League First Team (Defensive Line)
  • Dylan Jones: All-League First Team (Linebacker)
  • Johnny Martinez: All-League First Team (Kicker)
  • Reece Achen: All-League Second Team (Offensive Line)
  • Kade Harriman: All-League Second Team (Offensive/Defensive Line)
  • Drew Schlangen: All-League Second Team (Running Back/Linebacker)
  • Hayden Lawson: All-League Second Team (Running Back/Linebacker)
  • Quin Hahn: All-League Second Team (Wide Receiver/Return Specialist)
  • Owen Purteman: All-League Second Team (Defensive Line)
  • Johnny Martinez: All-League Second Team (Punter)
  • Aaron Winans: Honorable Mention (Offensive Line)
  • Henry Sigfridson: Honorable Mention (Wide Receiver/Defensive Back)

Soccer:

  • Josie Brandenburg: League MVP
  • Bridgette Hollifield: Offensive MVP
  • Aubrey Doerty: Defensive MVP
  • Sienna DiCristina: All-League First Team (Forward)
  • Ava Ripp: All-League First Team (Midfield)
  • Marin Ripp: All-League First Team (Defense)

Volleyball:

“Our student athletes were exceptional over the course of this fall sports season,” said Kevin Wright, Kalama High School Athletic Director. “These honors serve as a testament to their unwavering commitment to excellence, and we're so proud of their accomplishments!"

In addition to student athlete recognitions, the following Kalama High School coaches received Central 2B Coach of the Year honors:
