Listening Center

Kalama School District is committed to listening to our parents, students, staff and community. The Listening Center was established to help our local community get answers and accurate information, as well as resolve problems in a helpful and constructive manner.

Most questions or concerns can be addressed at the school building level; click here for a complete list of school phone numbers and links to each school's website

If you are unable to receive the assistance you need at the building level, a staff member from the district office will be happy to assist you. Please click on a topic below to share your question, comment or concern. Be sure to include your contact information if you would like a direct response.

Alternatively, you can email or drop off a Printable General Feedback Form at the District Office.

Thank you!

The Washington State Governor’s Office of the Education Ombuds (OEO) is an independent state agency that helps to reduce educational opportunity gaps by supporting families, students, educators, and other stakeholders in communities across WA in understanding the K-12 school system and resolving concerns collaboratively. OEO services are free and confidential. Anyone can contact OEO with a question or concern about school.

OEO listens, shares information and referrals, and works informally with families, communities, and schools to address concerns so that every student can fully participate and thrive in our state’s public schools. OEO provides support in multiple languages and has telephone interpretation available.

To get help or learn more about what OEO does, visit the OEO website, write to oeoinfo@gov.wa.gov, or call 1-866-297-2597 (interpretation available).
